Less frizz, a bit unwieldly
My wife asked for a small, powerful hair dryer for Christmas. I checked out reviews everywhere, and despite some noise complaints (none here) no matter how I approached it, I kept coming up with this one, so I bought it. The ion process seems to make her very long, thick hair less frizzy than conventional dryers, but neither the venturi nor the finger attachment did much to quicken the drying process. Five stars if not for the size (and therefore the unwieldyness) of the unit.

Good product...
Product purchased about one month ago and so far we are pleased. The unit dries wet hair quickly and leaves hair soft, not frizzy. A bit large in the hand, but light enough not to be cumbersome. The key verdict will be determined by how long the unit will last... as the previous 2 units (Vidal Sasson) burned out in less than 12 months.

No more frizz ...
I really like this hair dryer. I have curly hair which tends to be dry normally and with the old hair dryers my hair would end up frizzed at the ends. This hair dryer does a quick, non scorching dry and leaves my hair looking soft. Not sure if it's my imagination but I do not seem to be loosing as much hair as I did when I used my old dryer. My sister purchased this hair dryer first and I got to use it at her house and I was happy with the results.

after years of good service - it went out with a bang
I have had this hair dryer for a few years, and it has served me well up until now. Just this morning I was blow drying my hair when sparks began to fly out of the dryer, into my hair and onto the floor. In shock, I threw the dryer to the ground where it continued to spark and hiss a few more times until it died. I figured it must have reached it's end after a long life of use, but after reading some of the other reviews here I am surprised to learn that this has happened to others, and so soon after their purchase. Please stay away from this hair dryer unless you want to be scared out of your wits when you least expect it and risk burning off a part of your hair (or carpet).

not strong enough, too loud
feel disappoint with this hair dryer. It's too loud and not strong enough to blow my hair. I would not recommend this.
