Out with the old and in with the new...hair dryer, that is.
I recently purchased this as a replacement for my Revlon Ionic Retractable Cord 1875 Watt Dryer. It was still working well, but I felt like I needed to replace it before it died on me. Originally I did want one that had the same retractable cord, but in looking at my options I decided that it wasn't that much of a priority. Usually reviews on a product are very important to me and even though I couldn't find many on the Revlon Simplicity 1875 Watt Dryer it seemed to have all the features I was looking for and it was on sale. Now that I have had a couple weeks to use it, I couldn't be more pleased with the results.
The dryer has five "touch button" settings: Turbo, Fast Dry, Set Style, Styling and Off. I really like these buttons - very easy to turn on/off and having several different options really makes it nice. They are also highlighted by a small blue LED to the side showing you which setting you're currently using. As for the performance of the dryer it works better than my previous one and it's quieter too! I tend to use the "Fast Dry" setting the most and with my previous dryer it would take on average 10 minutes to fully dry my hair, with this one I was done in 6 minutes the first morning. It may not seem like a lot, but when you're running late in the morning every minute counts. The attachments can be useful depending on the individual, I have used both. The diffuser is great for when I am trying to get the most out of my naturally curly hair and the concentrator is great when I am blowing it straight before using my flat iron. All in all even without the retractable cord this is a great hair dryer
